Applying UDL to Make Middle School Math more Engaging

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Outcomes for this session aim to provide participants with an authentic and deeper understanding of what UDL looks like in an urban, full-inclusion Boston Public School by seeing various examples of the UDL engagement guidelines applied to middle school math curriculums. The strategies will be applicable to all content areas, and an extensive, hyperlinked resource guide will be provided.

In addition, participants will hear why UDL is being implemented in our school and how teachers use the guidelines to create more engaging and accessible lessons. Participants will learn about how GPA has measured the success of UDL implementation and hear about next steps for further extension of UDL practice.
